Job Description


Operational Buyer Mechanical ComponentsResponsibilities / Tasks

  • Review of received technical compliance/PR and align with PM to meet project requirement
  • Knowledge of CNC Tuned parts, drawings reading and costing for the same
  • Prepare QTS as per offer received and Get approval for final prices
  • Prepare PO and send to suppliers
  • Coordinate with Projects and Supplier for Drawing/Data Sheet approval or any technical issues to resolved.
  • Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery to meet project requirement
  • Coordination with Commercial, Logistics and Exim for timely delivery of materials
  • Plan and track project activities within Purchasing
  • Follow up and coordinate with Stores, QC, PM to ensure GRN done in time
  • Follow up with Accounts for payment released in due time
  • Monitor and Maintain ISO related documentations
  • Vendor evaluation and development
  • Responsible for ensuring their adherence to the companys processes and procedures
  • Regularly review and update internal process documentation
  • Manage the performance of assigned suppliers
  • Accountable for all ERP processes and SAP data in order to maintain and improve ERP compliance
  • Monitoring KPIs related to purchasing process
