Job Description

• Preparation of Operating Room: Set up and prepare the operating room before surgery. Ensure all surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are sterilized and arranged according to the surgical team's requirements.
• Assisting Surgical Team: Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during surgical procedures. Hand surgical instruments and supplies to the surgeon and surgical assistants as needed.
• Patient Preparation: Help position and prepare patients for surgery, including draping and sterilizing the surgical site. Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical procedure.
• Operating Theatre Equipment: Operate and maintain surgical equipment such as lights, suction machines, sterilizers, and diagnostic equipment. Troubleshoot equipment issues as necessary.
• Maintaining Sterile Environment: Maintain strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols throughout the surgical procedure. Monitor and enforce operating room cleanliness and sterility.
• Postoperative Procedures: Assist with transferring patients to the recovery room or intensive care unit post-surgery. Clean and restock the operating room after each procedure.
• Documentation and Record-keeping: Document all activities related to patient care, surgical procedures, and equipment usage accurately and promptly. Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Emergency Response: Assist in emergency procedures within the operating room, including resuscitation efforts and responding to code situations.

Pay: ?16,000.00 - ?23,000.00 per month
