Hiring for OT- Nurse
Department: Surgery/Operating Theatre
Number of Openings: 5

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an OT Nurse.

Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)

Job Summary:

The OT Nurse provides high-quality nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Preoperative Duties:

o Prepare the operating room and ensure the sterility of surgical supplies.

o Verify patient identity and surgical site.

o Assist in patient positioning and perform preoperative assessments.

Intraoperative Duties:

o Assist the surgical team and monitor the patient's condition.

o Maintain a sterile field and document procedures.

Postoperative Duties:

o Aid in patient recovery and monitor in the recovery room.

o Provide postoperative care and update patient records.

General Duties:

o Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

o Participate in training and assist in the sterilization of instruments.

Skills:

o Knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures.

o Strong communication and organizational skills.

o Proficiency in basic computer skills.
