Job Description
Managing OT Operations:
• Managing OT Operations & Oversee the day-to-day operations of the operation theater, ensuring it is ready for all scheduled surgeries.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure surgeries are performed efficiently.
• Monitor the overall workflow of the OT, ensuring all surgical procedures are carried out on time.
• Supervise OT nurses, technicians, and support staff, ensuring they perform their duties as per hospital protocols.
• Provide training to new staff on OT procedures, safety protocols, sterilization, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments to ensure high standards of care.
• Facilitate communication between the surgical team, nursing staff, anesthetists, and administration.
• Report any critical issues, accidents, or near misses to hospital management or relevant authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Radiology, Pathology, and ICU to ensure seamless patient care.
