: Operations Executive (FMCG Sector - Ready-to-Eat Foods)Position Overview: As an Operations Executive specializing in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector, particularly in the realm of ready-to-eat foods, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and optimize the supply chain management processes. Leveraging your qualifications in MBA Operations and your hands-on experience in operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods from production to distribution, ultimately contributing to the efficiency and success of the organization.Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the supply chain process, ensuring timely procurement of raw materials, efficient production scheduling, and effective distribution of finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory, thus maintaining optimal stock levels.
Vendor Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing, terms, and quality of materials.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly, identifying areas for improvement and fostering continuous improvement initiatives.
Production Planning and Control:
Collaborate with production teams to develop production plans aligned with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
Implement efficient production scheduling techniques to optimize resource utilization and minimize production lead times.
Logistics and Distribution:
Oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
Coordinate with logistics partners to streamline transportation routes, reduce transit times, and minimize freight costs.
Quality Control and Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control measures throughout the supply chain to maintain product integrity and meet regulatory standards.
Conduct regular quality audits of suppliers, production processes, and finished products to identify and rectify deviations from quality standards.
Process Improvement:
Continuously evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Lead cross-functional teams in process improvement initiatives, leveraging tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Management.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Utilize data analytics tools to analyze key performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights to drive informed decision-making.
Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, highlighting areas of success and areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA in Operations is highly desirable.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations management, preferably within the FMCG sector or related industries.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is preferred.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
