Educational Qualification:- MBA(Hospital Administration)
Experience-Min 1 year
Responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix to reflect the changing workload and to meet the needs of the patient in the per-operative environment.
v Coordinate all clinical activity to maximize efficiency.
v Provide clinical leadership to all theatre staff.
v Provide effective communication with team members and other departments to ensure an efficient service is maintained
v Deputise for the Theatre Manager in their absence and responsibility for delivering the service daily
v Ensure that all staff working within their specialty is working to the required level of clinical and professional competence.
v Develop, implement and update policies, guidelines & protocols for the management of patients within the pre-operative setting.
v To maintain a high standard of documentation in accordance with their relevant professional body for Record Keeping.
v To lead the Theatre team and act as an effective role model, providing excellent quality of care for patients and to act as an expert resource & knowledge base for colleagues
v To take responsibility for the cleanliness of their theatre environment and equipment at all times.
v To be responsible for the maintenance, Lubrication & repair of the theatre equipment & Instrument.
v The post holder will be expected to take part in the on-call rota and rostered weekend duties being flexible in their shift patterns.
