Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Operations Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the marine industry, with experience in managing and coordinating operational activities. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate Vessel Operations: Manage the scheduling, loading/unloading, and turnaround times of vessels to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Port and Terminal Management: Oversee port operations including berthing, cargo handling, and compliance with port regulations.
• Logistics Coordination: Ensure smooth logistics operations for marine transport, including liaising with suppliers, shipping agents, and other stakeholders.
• Safety and Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to ensure a safe working environment and adherence to industry standards.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of operations, prepare reports on performance metrics, and provide insights for operational improvements.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., logistics, procurement, finance) to coordinate activities and resolve operational issues effectively.
• Customer Service: Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their operational needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Emergency Response: Respond to operational emergencies promptly, implementing contingency plans to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Operations, Logistics, or related field.
• Proven experience in operations management within the marine industry, with a strong understanding of vessel operations and port logistics.
• Knowledge of international shipping regulations, port operations, and maritime safety standards.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with operational software systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?40,000.00 per month
