Job Title: OpenWRT Engineer with Linux Kernel and Driver Development Expertise

We are seeking an experienced OpenWRT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Linux kernel debugging and support, Linux driver development, and OpenWRT porting. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our embedded Linux systems, ensuring robust and efficient operation of our products.

Responsibilities:

1.OpenWRT Porting and Development:

• Port OpenWRT to new hardware platforms.
• Customize and optimize OpenWRT for specific hardware requirements.
• Develop, configure, and maintain OpenWRT packages and modules.

2.Linux Kernel Debugging and Support:

• Perform kernel debugging to identify and resolve issues.
• Provide support for kernel-related problems, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Maintain and update the Linux kernel for our embedded systems.

3.Linux Driver Development:

• Develop and maintain Linux device drivers for various hardware components.
• Ensure drivers are optimized for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate and test drivers with hardware.

4.System Integration and Testing:

• Integrate various software components with the hardware.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure system functionality and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

5.Documentation and Collaboration:

• Document development processes, code, and system configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software developers, and QA teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience with OpenWRT development and porting.
• Strong proficiency in Linux kernel debugging and support.
• Proven experience in Linux driver development.
• In-depth understanding of embedded Linux systems.
• Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, etc.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ?30,000.00 per month
