Functional requirements:



• Sound understanding of the various component parts and needs of a Pipeline transmission system, including Mainline(s), Valve Stations, Scraper Traps, Jumpovers, Metering, Pressure Reduction and Filtering stations etc.


• Solid understanding of, and ability to apply, the appropriate industry and client standards towards the Pipeline design.


• Familiarity with and ability to apply the various construction methodologies for buried, covered, and above ground onshore Pipeline systems.


• Ability to interpret and apply information from various sources/documents, including Topography, Geotechnical, Flow Assurance, SRA, QRA and EIA reports etc.


• Sound understanding of and ability to Engineer/develop/update the following Pipelines related items/documents:


• Pipeline Route Selection


• LUP


• Population Density Index


• Crossing details


• Calculations (Upheaval Buckling, Pipe soil interaction, Expansion analyses, Wall Thickness, Hot Tap, SIS etc)


• SIS sheets


• Data sheets and Specifications


• Tie-in Index


• Input to Technical Queries and RFI's.


• NMR reviews.


• Checking of relevant discipline design deliverables.



Bachelors degree is a must



Exp - 6 to 10 yrs
