Key Responsibilities:

• Source potential clients from freelance platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, and others.
• Develop and implement strategies for bidding on freelance platforms to secure projects.
• Regularly monitor and analyse bidding performance, tracking win/loss ratios to understand client needs and refine bidding techniques accordingly.
• Leverage LinkedIn and other social media platforms to identify and connect with potential clients.
• Generate a steady pipeline of leads through various marketing channels, including email outreach, social media, and networking, with a focus on high-quality, targeted prospects.
• Maintain an organized approach to follow-ups, ensuring timely and professional communication with potential clients to maximize the chances of securing projects.
• Manage client relationships post-bid, ensuring smooth communication and handovers to project teams, while maintaining client satisfaction for potential future collaborations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements and tailor client pitches accordingly.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in marketing, lead generation, client acquisition, or sales is essential. A proven track record in securing freelance projects is highly desirable.
• Freelance Platforms Knowledge: In-depth understanding of platforms such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc., including platform-specific bidding processes, pricing strategies, and platform policies.
• Proposal Writing: Ability to craft compelling and tailored project proposals that align with client needs, ensuring clarity in scope, deliverables, and pricing.
• Social media: A strong presence and active engagement on LinkedIn and other social media platforms, with the ability to leverage these networks for client acquisition.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly, negotiate contracts, and manage client expectations effectively.
• Goal-oriented: Strong focus on lead generation and business growth through creative and data-driven marketing efforts.
• Client Relationship Management: Ability to maintain ongoing relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction post-bid and fostering long-term partnerships.
• Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools, project management software, and analytics platforms to track leads, monitor bidding performance, and organize workflows.
