As we expand our client base and portfolio, we are looking for a skilled Online Bidder to help us grow on platforms like Upwork and other freelancing websites.
Job Responsibilities:
• Bid Management: Create, manage, and submit high-quality bids on relevant projects across Upwork. Ensure bids are tailored to meet client needs and requirements, increasing the chances of winning projects.
• Client Interaction: Respond to client queries, understand their project requirements, and build strong relationships. Regularly communicate with potential clients to address any concerns and offer solutions that meet their needs.
• Proposal Writing: Write compelling proposals that clearly highlight the company's expertise, deliverables, and competitive edge. Showcase previous successful projects and how your skills align with the client's requirements.
• Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate project terms, pricing, and timelines with potential clients. Ensure that all project details are well-defined before closure, making sure both client and company expectations are aligned.
• Lead Generation & Networking: Identify new potential clients and projects by researching and exploring Upwork. Build a network of clients for repeat business and long-term relationships.
• Follow-ups & Updates: Regularly follow up on sent proposals, track project status, and maintain clear communication with clients to secure project awards.
• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, client demands, and competitor activities. Suggest improvements in bidding strategies and pricing models based on market trends.
• Project Management: Once a project is secured, work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth execution and delivery according to client specifications.
• Reporting: Maintain and update records of the submitted proposals, won projects, ongoing negotiations, and project milestones. Provide periodic performance reports and feedback to management.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in online bidding, especially on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or Fiverr.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of the Upwork platform, its features, and bidding strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft impactful proposals and interact with clients.
• Good understanding of IT services, technologies, and project requirements.
• Ability to research and identify potential clients and projects.
• Strong negotiation skills to close deals with clients effectively.
• Familiarity with project management tools and team collaboration.
• Result-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
• Preferred Skills:
• Experience in working with international clients, particularly in the IT and software development domains.
• Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, and website development (if applicable to your services).
• Previous experience managing a portfolio of clients on Upwork or similar platforms.
