About Us:Our client is a leading US-based company with a strong presence in the real estate sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Controller to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will possess a CPA certification and have extensive experience in financial management and reporting.Position Summary:As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our operations in Gurgaon, ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards and local regulations. You will lead a team of financial professionals, manage financial planning and analysis, and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.Key Responsibilities:1. Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.2. Ensure compliance with US GAAP and local regulatory requirements.3. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of financial statements and variance analysis.4. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.5. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.6. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.7. Collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and legal advisors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and tax filings.8. Evaluate and improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.Requirements:- Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is mandatory.- Proven experience (5+ years) in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles.- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial principles, and regulatory requirements.- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).- Experience in managing and developing a team of finance professionals.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Previous experience working in a US-based company or exposure to US financial regulations is preferred.
