Job Summary: A candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience working in HR On-boarding for an IT Service industry. Responsibilities:
Must have held the position of onboarding specialist in an IT service or staffing firm.
In charge of conducting an HR round to assess a candidate's cultural and profile fit.
Handling all pre-onboarding tasks (sending newsletters, inviting people to the office, having lunch with them, etc.).
Responsible for end to end (Selection to Onboarding).
Good experience in Background verification, reference checks, investigations.
Implementing creative on-boarding methodologies (Preparing a plan of action for the first day of a new hire).
Collect and verify the documents and send it for manager approval.
Should have good knowledge in HR Policies & explaining to new hires.
Creating clear policies and employee handbooks that explain company operations.
Crafting and sending emails with information about the company and position, including work schedules, dress code and parking options.
Preparing onboarding kits and Gather process paperwork, like contracts and non-disclosure agreements if any.
Welcome new employees upon their arrival and give them an office tour, Introduce team members.
Assign a buddy for the new hire till he gets familiar with the system.
Taking care of induction process.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential. Onboarding specialist should be single point of contact for all the department queries and able to provide solutions to it.
Educational background:
MBA in Human Resources Management or similar field.
