As an

Oil & Gas Faculty

at SLBS Marklance, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and enhancing online courses related to the oil and gas industry. You will leverage your expertise and real-world experience to teach, mentor, and engage students, helping them gain the skills necessary for success in this critical sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Course Development & Instruction

: Create, deliver, and update high-quality online courses on topics related to the oil and gas industry, including exploration, drilling, production, refining, and distribution.

Content Delivery

: Conduct live sessions, webinars, and recorded lectures, ensuring the material is accessible, engaging, and relevant to students.

Assessment & Evaluation

: Develop and grade assignments, quizzes, and exams to assess student understanding and progress.

Student Mentorship

: Provide guidance and mentorship to students, answering their queries, providing feedback, and supporting their academic growth.

Industry Relevance

: Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure course content is aligned with the latest developments in the oil and gas sector.

Collaborate with Other Faculties

: Work with other faculty members to ensure an integrated and cohesive learning experience across courses.

Research & Development

: Engage in research to create new course modules, projects, and learning materials related to emerging trends in the oil and gas industry.

Administrative Tasks

: Assist with course scheduling, student onboarding, and other administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background

: B.Tech Mechanic / M.Tech

Industry Experience

: At least 3 years of practical experience in the oil and gas industry (fieldwork, operations, engineering, or management roles).

Teaching Experience

: Previous experience in teaching or training, particularly in an online environment, is highly desirable.

Expertise

: In-depth knowledge of oil and gas exploration, drilling techniques, production operations, safety standards, environmental regulations, and energy sustainability.

Communication Skills

: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.

Technical Proficiency

: Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), video conferencing tools, and digital teaching platforms.

Passion for Education

: A commitment to empowering students and helping them achieve their career goals.
Preferred Skills:

Certification or training in online teaching methodologies. Experience in curriculum design and instructional design. Knowledge of emerging technologies in the oil and gas sector, such as automation and digital transformation. Ability to create engaging and interactive learning materials, including case studies and simulations.
