Role And Responsibilities The Officer/Executive - Safety will be responsible for the following: Ensuring the implementation of the work permit system to maintain a safe working environment. Individually handling a shift as the shift safety in charge to oversee safety operations. Familiarizing with construction and fire safety measures at the site to prevent and address potential hazards. Conducting risk assessments using HAZOP tools for API processes to mitigate potential risks. Conducting periodic, refresh, and induction training sessions for various groups across the plant to ensure awareness of safety protocols. Continuous monitoring of unsafe and safe conditions to take necessary preventive measures. Applying strong knowledge of chemical compatibility, chemical storage, and UGT tank safety to prevent accidents and ensure safe handling of materials. Thoroughly investigating all near misses for root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions. Internal coordination for ISO 45001/14001 audit compliance and documentation processes. Candidate Qualifications We are looking for candidates with a degree in safety management or a related field, along with relevant experience in safety operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
