Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in CNC operations, production techniques, and press tool technologies, and should be eager to share real-world insights with engineering students. The role involves both teaching and supporting laboratory sessions to bridge the gap between theory and practical application.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver lectures and tutorials on subjects related to CNC machining, production engineering, and press tool design. Conduct practical sessions and demonstrations in CNC labs and workshops. Prepare course materials, assignments, lab manuals, and assessments in line with the syllabus. Guide and mentor students on academic projects and industrial training. Maintain and oversee CNC machines, workshop tools, and safety practices. Collaborate with industry professionals to arrange guest lectures, internships, and workshops. Participate in curriculum development and academic planning. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep course content relevant. Contribute to departmental activities, accreditations (like NBA/NAAC), and academic research (if applicable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Diploma / B.E. / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution. 2-4 years of experience in industry and/or teaching, preferably with exposure to CNC, production, and press tools. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and CAD/CAM tools. Familiarity with CNC programming and operations (Fanuc / Siemens controllers). Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and engage students in both theoretical and practical aspects.
