Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations.Join us on our journey for a better tomorrow.Your Role-To ensure compliance and ethically uphold the Acts, rules and notifications, Atlas Copco is committed not carrying out business or trade with the national and internationally restricted, sanctioned, and unverified customers as well as organizations.\xe2\x80\x8bAs the first step, the Basic Screening Team ensures Atlas Copco does not engage in trade with the restricted or sanctioned customers and organisations. Basic scrutiny involves reviewing, verifying names, locations, entity types and other criteria. in case of any potential matches/hits against SPL (Sanctioned Party List), escalate to Screening Specialist for further review and release the false hit (No potential match/hits).Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as first in line, a basic screening team member to filter out the false positives and escalate real/true hits, based on updated restriction and sanctions lists.
  • Regularly check and initiate action based on the computer-generated worklists.
  • Take the guidance of SOP, parameters and protocols framed by Regional and Global Trade Compliance Leads.
  • Verify the BPs and orders and in case of any deviation escalate the findings to the Global Trade Compliance Team thru respective Screening specialist.
  • Ensure timely completion of screenings and release of system-generated blocks, other than the blocks referred to Screening specialist.
  • Maintain accurate records of screening activities, namely, release orders, and escalations.
  • Carry out screening process offline as well as system-based SAP-GTS.
  • Translate in the local languages the details of the research carried out on our business partners to assist our Regional or Global Trade Compliance teams in decision making process.
  • Stay updated on relevant Act, laws, rules, regulations, notification and guidelines affecting the operations of our company.
  • Embrace technology and innovation to address important compliance requirements.
Functional Requirements and Specific Responsibilities:
  • On shift end, ensure a proper communication is made to your successor the details of urgent and incomplete orders or issues.
  • On priority report to your superior regarding issues related to account access, technical issues (e.g., enterprise software, proprietary screening software).
  • If required, prepare and attend the meetings.
  • Report fluctuations in order volumes to superior, if any.
  • Prioritize and organize work to cope with a dynamic and complex environment to meet the SLA.
  • Carry out the additional activities assigned.
  • Ready to work with flexible shift timings (24X7) based on business requirements and adherence to the team roster.
To succeed, you will need-
  • Understanding of national & international restrictions, sanctions and export control regulations of US, EU and UK
  • Added advantage to have knowledge of screening tools (e.g. SAP GTS, Descartes, Kharon, Dow Jones, etc.)
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills in English
  • Prefer to have communication skill in other foreign languages (e.g. Chinese, Russian, Arabic etc).
  • Excellent analytical and Internet through research skills
  • High level of business acumen and reasoning skills, including the ability to document the decision-making process
  • Strong attention to detailing.
  • Ability to research and resolve issues independently
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Good in teamwork, with colleagues across Regions and Business Units.
  • Establish strong customer relationship skills
  • Working knowledge of application software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Quick learner of new systems and / technology.
Educational requirements:Graduate degree with 2 to 3 years of experience in the relevant field.Personality requirements:
