Job Description

Site Analysis

• Conduct assessments of land and natural resources to evaluate project suitability.
• Analyze existing site conditions, including topography, vegetation, and climate factors.

Design Development

• Develop conceptual designs and detailed plans for outdoor spaces based on project requirements.
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other visualization tools.
• Collaborate with landscape consultants for detailed design and project development.

Project Management

• Manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to requirements and budgets.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, urban planners, and landscape consultants.

Sustainability Practices

• Integrate sustainable design principles and eco-friendly practices in projects.
• Advocate for the use of native plants and sustainable materials.

Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure design compliance with zoning laws, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
• Secure necessary permits and approvals, as required.

Research and Innovation

• Stay informed on industry trends, materials, and techniques.
• Innovate to improve the aesthetic and functional aspects of landscape designs.

Construction Oversight

• Supervise the implementation of landscape designs, ensuring adherence to plans and quality standards.
• Collaborate with contractors and suppliers during construction.

Qualifications :

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture or related field.
• Skills: Strong design and visualization skills, proficiency in CAD and graphic design software, excellent communication and project management abilities.
• Experience: Previous experience in landscape architecture or related fields is often required.
