Job Description
Job Title: Store Peon:
The Store Peon is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the store, ensuring a clean and organized environment, and providing support to staff and customers.
Responsibilities:
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing merchandise; help with stock checks and inventory updates.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness in the store, including shelves, storage areas, and common spaces.
• Customer Assistance: Greet customers and assist them with basic inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
• Support Staff: Provide assistance to store employees with various tasks, including carrying items and preparing displays.
• Delivery Coordination: Help with loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles as needed.
• Record Keeping: Assist with maintaining records related to inventory and supplies.
Qualifications:
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Skills: Good communication skills; ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physical Ability: Ability to lift and carry items; should be physically fit to handle store duties.
• Experience: Previous experience in a retail or store environment is a plus but not mandatory.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
