We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Packing Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing garment industry. The Packing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all finished garments are properly packed, labeled, and prepared for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements. This role is crucial in maintaining quality control and meeting delivery deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Packing Operations:
• Prepare finished garments for packing by folding, labeling, and placing them into appropriate packaging materials (boxes, bags, etc.).
• Ensure that garments are packed according to specified packing instructions and quality standards.
• Verify quantities and sizes of garments packed against packing lists or orders.
• Responsible Work with production planners and other departments to create a packaging schedule that aligns with production targets and ensures timely delivery of finished goods.
• Responsible Work closely with other departments, such as production, quality control, and logistics, to ensure smooth coordination and seamless flow of activities
• Quality Control:
• Inspect garments for defects, stains, or damages before packing.
• Ensure that all packed garments meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Report any quality issues or discrepancies to supervisors or quality control personnel.
• Responsible for monitoring of all activities carried out in production and packaging area.
• Documentation and Labeling:
• Attach labels, tags, and stickers to packed garments accurately.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to packing activities.
• Ensure that all shipping and packing documents are complete and correct.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while handling garments and packing materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the packing area.
• Comply with company policies and regulations regarding packing, shipping, and safety.
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with production team members to prioritize packing schedules and meet shipment deadlines.
• Work closely with warehouse and logistics personnel to ensure timely and accurate shipment of packed goods.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in packing operations within the garment manufacturing industry preferred.
• Understanding of garment packing techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling garments.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move boxes, and handle garments.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
