An office coordinator's job is to support the smooth running of an office by performing a variety of administrative and customer service tasks:
• Reception : Greet visitors and customers, and direct them to the right person
• Phone : Answer and direct phone calls
• Scheduling : Manage schedules for meetings and conference rooms
• Inventory : Monitor and order office supplies, including stationery, computer hardware, and printers
• Correspondence : Manage incoming and outgoing mail, emails, faxes, and packages
• Documentation : File and organize records, invoices, and other important documents
• Maintenance : Submit work orders and schedule repairs for office equipment and general office space
• Events : Plan and coordinate social events and business travel
• Procedures : Develop efficient procedures for filing documents, tracking expenses, and paying suppliers
• Communication : Facilitate communication between departments
