Job Overview:
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role includes preparing bills, covering letters, and other documents for clients, as well as traveling twice a week to deliver Lorry Receipts (LRs) to drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and type bills, covering letters, and other client correspondence.
• Maintain and update client records and transaction details.
• Travel outside the office twice a week to deliver Lorry Receipts (LRs) to drivers.
• Assist in managing office supplies and ensuring the office is organized.
• Handle filing, documentation, and data entry tasks as required.
• Communicate with clients and drivers to provide information as needed.
• Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in typing and working with MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Must be comfortable with traveling twice a week for deliveries.
• Prior experience in administrative or office work is a plus.
• Knowledge of transportation/logistics processes is desirable but not required.
