This position is based in-house at our Chandigarh Office We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Of Staff to spearhead our operations in Chandigarh. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in office management, hiring, and local office set-up. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring our local office runs smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Office Set-up and Management: Spearhead the setting up of the new office in Chandigarh - including site selection, negotiation with vendors, and ensuring the office is equipped with necessary infrastructure. Coordinate with facilities management, IT, and other departments for smooth operations Recruitment & Hiring: Oversee the hiring process for the Chandigarh office from job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with company hiring policies and legal regulations. Work closely with department heads to understand staffing needs and ensure they are met in a timely manner. Calendar Management: Manage the scheduling and organization of meetings, events, and appointments for senior staff members. Coordinate with different departments and stakeholders to ensure efficient time management. Plan, arrange, and manage travel itineraries, transportation, and accommodation for senior staff as required. Vendor Management & Procurement: Identify, vet, and manage relationships with local vendors and service providers. Ensure that the office remains stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is maintained. General Administration: Address and resolve any issues related to the Chandigarh office, ensuring staff welfare and efficient operations. Keep updated with local regulations and compliances that might affect the office and company operations. Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years\' experience in office management, administration, or a related role. Proven experience in setting up offices and hiring staff. Familiarity with Chandigarh\'s local regulations and business landscape will be an advantage. Proficient in using office software, including MS Office, and calendar management tools. Key Competencies: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Decision-making skills and the ability to operate independently. Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. Detail-oriented and proficient in planning.
