Introduction: To be part of a team providing 3rd line operational support for the Barclays O365/Azure Tenant, which runs services used by all Barclays colleagues worldwide. Support will include raising and implementing changes, resolving incidents, investigating and solving problem records, managing cloud identities, and supporting the on-premise infrastructure which underpin our cloud services. You’ll be working as part of a busy, global team so you’ll be making full use of the collaboration products that you help to support. What will you be doing?

  • 3rd line incident support and resolution for incidents relating to the O365/Azure Tenant, including coordination of effort with Barclays colleagues and vendor partners as required.
  • Rapid response to major incidents with an adverse impact on Barclays colleagues, identification and resolution of underlying cause and related incidents.
  • Problem management of persistent issues to prevent incident reoccurrence and improve service performance and stability.
  • Proactive approach to continual service improvement and enhancement of the user experience.
  • Respond rapidly to product change generated by the Microsoft Evergreen process, enabling seamless transition to avoid any negative user impact.
  • Understand risk, control and security responsibilities, take ownership of issues where appropriate.
  • Deliver break-fix, essential maintenance and product improvement changes to the highest standard and following the Barclays Change Management process.
  • Ensure the O365 Tenant/Azure service is resilient, including any applicable DR testing and exercises.
  • Champion a “shift left” approach to knowledge sharing amongst colleagues in 1st and 2nd line support, business champions and end users.
  • Provide on-call out of hours support on a rota basis.

What We’re Looking For
  • Microsoft Azure AD in use within large enterprises (>100,000 seats across multiple geographic environments)
Azure AAD Connect Azure AD Conditional Access Microsoft Active Directory Security & Compliance centre, Azure Graph API
  • Champion a “shift left” approach to knowledge sharing amongst colleagues in 1st and 2nd line support, business champions and end users.

Skills that will help you in the role:
  • Experience on Hybrid identity Management such as with multiple AD directory sync
  • Working knowledge of the M365 Product Suite including Teams, SharePoint Online, Planner, Yammer, Exchange Online
  • Experience of Multi factor Authentication (MFA) in relation with Conditional Access policy & RBAC
  • In depth Azure AAD Connect functionality knowledge such as Sync rules, precedence etc
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in a service operations environment.
