Nahla Centre for Child Development is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Occupational Therapist
to assess, plan, and implement therapy programs for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and other sensory-motor challenges. The therapist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to enhance children's functional independence in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess children's motor, sensory, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
Develop individualized intervention plans based on assessment findings and child-specific goals.
Implement evidence-based therapy strategies to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and school-related activities.
Provide training and guidance to parents and caregivers on home-based strategies.
Collaborate with speech therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and educators for a holistic approach to child development.
Maintain accurate documentation, including assessment reports, progress notes, and treatment plans.
Monitor and review progress, making necessary modifications to intervention strategies.
Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and professional development activities.
Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in pediatric occupational therapy.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) from a recognized institution.
Certification & License:
Registration with the relevant Occupational Therapy Council.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred (fresh graduates with a passion for child development are also encouraged to apply).
Strong understanding of sensory integration therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, and play-based interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, parents, and team members.
Compassionate, patient-centered, and adaptable to diverse child needs.
