1. Clinical Responsibilities
Through assessment and analysis of findings, develop individual goal- oriented treatment and intervention plans in collaboration with family/caregivers and colleagues. This will include the application of skills to assess motor, sensory and cognitive function in the context of the client's social and physical environment.
To monitor, evaluate and modify treatment in order to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
2. Communication
To communicate effectively with other professionals, family/caregivers to ensure an integrated pattern of service delivery. Use formal and informal reporting mechanism to ensure effective communication.
Use effective inter-personal skills to encourage family/caregivers in active participation in occupational therapy process.
3. Responsibility
. To be accountable for the OT materials and equipment and maintaining the records for the same.
4. Reporting
To report to the in charge of the OT department regarding daily functioning which includes identifying relevant assessment to be done, reviewing the intervention plan, setting goals and ensuring proper follow up.
To provide weekly report to the in charge of OT department.
To demonstrate an ability to be organized, punctual, flexible, and function smoothly.
Maintaining a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
