Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate children's developmental, physical, and cognitive skills through play-based assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and other activities of daily living.
• Address challenges related to sensory processing, motor planning, coordination, and hand-eye coordination.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other members of the child's care team, including speech and physical therapists, teachers, and doctors.
• Provide parent education and training to support the child's development at home and in the community.
• Utilize creative and therapeutic interventions to help children overcome barriers in school, home, and social settings.
• Maintain detailed progress notes, evaluations, and treatment plans while complying with all relevant regulations.
• Stay updated on the latest pediatric OT techniques, research, and best practices to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in [State].
• Experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus on working with children with developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, autism, or physical disabilities.
• Knowledge of sensory integration, fine motor skill development, and assistive technology for children.
• Strong communication skills, particularly when working with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for helping children grow and develop in their daily activities.
• Certification in Sensory Integration Therapy (preferred but not required).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
