Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Child Development Centre, Bangalore

Job Type: Full-time

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Salary Range: Rs. 35,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist to work with children aged 0-18 years, addressing their physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with developmental delays, disabilities, or other special needs. The Occupational Therapist will design and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with families to ensure holistic development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify children's strengths, needs, and goals

- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans

- Use evidence-based interventions to enhance daily living skills, motor skills, and sensory integration

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, psychologists, and special educators

- Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and teachers to ensure consistent support

- Maintain accurate records and reports on child progress

- Participate in workshops, training, and professional development to stay updated on best practices

Requirements:

- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution

- Registration with the All India Occupational Therapists' Association (AIOTA)

- Minimum 2 years of experience working with children with special needs

- Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles, theories, and practices

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a pediatric setting

- Certification in sensory integration or other specialized training

- Familiarity with Indian laws and regulations related to disability and child rights
