Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions to help individuals achieve their highest level of functional independence.Key Responsibilities:1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify patients' strengths, limitations, and goals.2. Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.3. Therapy Sessions: Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to help patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and work.4. Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.5. Collaboration with Healthcare Team: Work with physicians, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.6. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on strategies to promote functional independence and participation in daily activities.7. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' progress and treatment plans.8. Stay Current with Best Practices: Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.Requirements:1. Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Earned from an accredited institution.2. National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) Certification: Obtained from the NBCOT.3. State Licensure: Current licensure to practice occupational therapy in the state.4. Clinical Experience5.
