The team you\'ll be part of

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

The team delivers digital network planning and optimization services at competitive costs using industry leading automation for Digital network Design, Pre-launch optimization and Network Performance Management Services.

An exciting opportunity to work in the ever-changing Telecommunication Industry. As a member of GSD NPO Stream, for our MN Services, you will join a team of Technical Experts working on various projects across the globe in Multiple RAN technologies. The focus will be on Mobile Networks across 5G, mMIMO, VoNR, VoLTE, LTE,3G and 2G. Primary expertise is on RAN part, but technical understanding to work with Core & Transport teams are essential. The role is expected to keep herself/himself on the latest Nokia Product & SW roadmaps / features and have a good understanding of relevant 3GPP specifications.

As part of our team, you will:

  • Supports the Principal Engineer to solve problems or to pro-actively improve customer's networks performance. Learn about the Principal Engineer role as his/her next steps in their career.
Performs critical (sometimes escalated) performance activities in customer projects independently. These may include complex problem solving in projects with performance requirements and multi-vendor environment.

To build a long-term relationship with the customer in order to be a trusted person that could advice the customer for their network evolution strategies

Focusing to support Tier 1 customers (country view). The SME should identify problems, anticipating the customer, in order to avoid escalations and promoting the up-sales of products and services. This is taken as a preparation for next steps (Principal Engineer)

Must actively share Knowledge, best practices and be the coaches for other team members. Have an active (lead) participation in NPO communities.

Your skills and experience

You have:

A minimum of 10 years\' work experience in RF Optimization for 5G/LTE / UMTS / GSM. A minimum of 4 years good work experience on 5G/LTE Optimization. Experience in Nokia products.

Consultative skills (L3). Independently carrying out consulting, specific functional work within a Business Unit/Geography. Assumes broad perspective. Resolves unique and highly complex problems within own discipline. Makes decisions about own and/or project work using known solutions as basis.

Previous experience of face-to-face activities with the client, with good and probed references.

Result oriented with focus on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Team player, open communication and ability to work in an international team.

The engineer requires a minimum of supervision. He/she know how to administer himself with a minimum of supervision and based on the objectives defined he or she should be a decision maker and very agile to achieve the results expected.

Business mindset: The engineer should understand about Telecommunication Business and Financials. Should be able to understand the financial status of our customers.

If doesn\'t have pre-sale or sales experience, the candidate should be interested to develop these skills. * High interest on increases leading skills.
