Job Summary

As a Nutrition and Food Expert for E-commerce, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance, education, and support related to nutrition, dietetics, and healthy food choices. Your role within the e-commerce industry will involve interacting with clients online, conducting virtual assessments, and developing personalized nutrition plans tailored to their specific needs and goals. Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest research and trends in nutrition, leveraging e-commerce platforms to provide evidence-based recommendations and contribute to promoting overall health and well-being through the convenience and accessibility of online shopping.

Duties and Responsibilities

? Conduct comprehensive assessments of the client's nutritional needs, including analysing dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors.

? Provide expert advice and education on proper nutrition, dietary guidelines, portion control, and healthy eating habits.

? Develop personalized nutrition plans, taking into account specific goals, dietary restrictions, and health conditions.

? Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, providing ongoing support, and making necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.

? Provide guidance on reading food labels, understanding nutritional claims, and making informed choices when grocery shopping.

? Offer practical tips and strategies for meal planning, food preparation, and mindful eating.

? Address clients' concerns, questions, and misconceptions about nutrition and food-related topics.

? Document and track client outcomes, satisfaction levels, and success stories to demonstrate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions.

? Conduct nutrition workshops, seminars, or presentations to educate and raise awareness about healthy eating habits and nutrition-related topics.

? Stay updated on the latest scientific research, trends, and advancements in nutrition and food science.

? Continuously expand knowledge in specialized areas such as sports nutrition, weight management, chronic disease management, or special dietary needs.

Desired Candidate Profile

? Bachelor's Degree is required.

? Registered Dietician (RD) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) certification is preferred.

? Proven experience in providing nutrition counselling, preferably in a clinical or community setting.

? In-depth knowledge of nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.

? Familiarity with nutrition assessment tools, dietary analysis software, and electronic health record systems.

? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and effectively convey nutrition information.

? Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess client's needs, develop appropriate nutrition plans, and make evidence-based recommendations.

? Ability to work independently, manage multiple clients and priorities, and adapt to varying client needs and situations.
