As a Nutanix Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and

maintaining Nutanix infrastructure, including hyper-converged infrastructure (HCI) systems. You wi;;

provide technical support, implement new systems, and ensure the stability, availability, and

performance of Nutanix environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

? Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support for Nutanix environments, addressing

hardware and software issues reported by internal or external users.

? Infrastructure Management: Administer, operate, and manage Nutanix hyper-converged

infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

? Configuration and Deployment: Configure and deploy Nutanix hardware and software

components, including setting up virtual machines and storage solutions.

? Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor system performance, conduct regular maintenance,

and perform troubleshooting to resolve issues proactively.

? Log Analysis and RCA: Analyze logs to identify issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA)

to prevent future occurrences.

? Documentation: Maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and

troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

? Experience: Typically requires 3-7 years of experience in system administration, specifically

with Nutanix platforms.

? Technical Skills:

? Proficiency in Nutanix technologies, including Acropolis Hypervisor (AHV) and Prism

interface.

? Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

? Knowledge of Linux operating systems is often essential.

? Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose technical problems effectively.

? Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical

stakeholders.

Preferred Certifications:

? Nutanix Certified Professional (NCP) or similar certifications related to virtualization or cloud

technologies.
