What you\'ll do :
Accounts Payable :
- Ensure smooth running of Accounts Payable processes. Oversee the payment processes to all vendors as per schedule.
- Managing complete Accounts Payable cycle from receipt of invoices to payments including documentation. Ensure proper controls and checks in invoice accounting and payment.
- Cross-checking payments uploaded by team and verifying on the portal before releasing to the vendors.
- Ensure that AP and invoicing process is done as per agreed SLA.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement processes for driving efficiencies.
- Develop best practices, provide leadership, guidance for automations, process harmonisation, standardization and improvements.
- Ensure all AP policies, procedures and approval authority matrix are adhered including employee travel and related expenses.
- Reconciliation of vendor accounts and correspondence with vendors as may be required.
Book Closing including Fixed Assets :
- Own all aspects of Fixed Assets accounting (review FA purchases, process transaction in FA module, perform various FA analyses)
- Review Capital Work-In-Progress on Quarterly basis and initiate appropriate action
- Reconciliation of balances as per Books and as per Bank and preparation of Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) showing the differences and the reasons thereof
- Monthly Review of advances paid to suppliers & employees, follow-up for invoices & ensuring closure
- Review of Control accounts pertaining to Payables on monthly basis and taking appropriate action
- Review of Sundry creditors balances for ageing & accuracy and proposing old payables for write-back
- Preparation of monthly / quarterly accounts payable schedules and reconciliations as per audit requirement.
- Work closely with internal and statutory audit team on the required deliverables and agreed SOP\'s.
- Identify and collaborate with cross-functional business partners and third parties to implement best practices, automation and continuous process improvements.
Banking :
- Liaise with Banks for any issues related to payments, authorised signatory addition etc.
- Submit monthly / quarterly documentation as required by Banks towards foreign remittances etc.
- Analyse cash flow requirements and share the reports with Management on weekly basis.
What we\'re looking for :
- 3 - 5 years of experience working in Accounts Payable / RTR domain
- CA/CWA is mandatory. Experience in the ecommerce industry would be preferred
- Working Knowledge of SAP required.
- Basic understanding of accounting standards, Company Law, GST & TDS laws and other related compliances
- Ability to work well in a team across various functions and business lines
- Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders well
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking mindset
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to devise solutions through a data driven approach
