Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to lead our nursing team in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have extensive clinical experience and a strong leadership background, with the ability to inspire and mentor nursing staff to achieve the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure high-quality patient care. Conduct regular assessments of patient care and nursing practices within the unit. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes. Manage staffing schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all shifts. Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff and assist with professional development. Act as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, and administration for effective communication and collaboration. Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff and provide feedback for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification; a Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. Registered Nurse (RN) license in India. 5-15 years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and management skills to guide nursing staff effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, patient care protocols, and healthcare regulations. Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick decisions under pressure. Proficient in using healthcare technology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
