Description
We are seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our nursing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and at least 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role. The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that our nursing staff provides high-quality patient care, adheres to all hospital policies and procedures, and maintains a safe and healthy work environment. This is a full-time position based in India.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and manage a team of nurses, including assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and providing guidance and support
• Ensure that all nursing staff provide high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
• Monitor patient progress and update medical records as necessary
• Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
• Ensure that the nursing team complies with all safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Develop and implement training programs to ensure that nursing staff are up-to-date with the latest medical practices and procedures
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Handle any complaints or concerns from patients or their families, and take appropriate action to resolve issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and healthcare regulations
Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Valid nursing license in India
• 5-10 years of experience in nursing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• In-depth knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records
• Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Familiarity with safety regulations and infection control protocols
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
• Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing practice and healthcare regulations
