Job Overview:

The Nursery Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Nursery Teacher in creating a vibrant and engaging classroom environment. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere for early learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support : Assist the Lead Nursery Teacher in preparing and implementing daily activities and lesson plans.
• Child Supervision : Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Learning Activities : Support the delivery of age-appropriate learning experiences that promote the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.
• Behavior Management : Help maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment by following established behavior management strategies.
• Personal Care : Assist with daily routines such as snack time, nap time, toileting, and hygiene needs.
• Communication : Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment.
• Record Keeping : Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents or concerns.
• Classroom Setup : Help set up and clean up classroom materials and activities, ensuring a tidy and organized learning space.
• Professional Development : Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education practices.

Qualifications:

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Experience : Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred.
• Skills :
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Basic understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Pay: ?10,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
