Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership and Management:
• Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and facilitate professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Monitor patient care practices to maintain high-quality standards.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Policy Development:
• Develop and update nursing policies and procedures in alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
• Ensure all nursing staff are trained on and adhere to established policies.
• Patient Care:
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Address patient and family concerns promptly and effectively.
• Budget Management:
• Assist in the development and management of the nursing budget.
• Monitor resource utilization to ensure cost-effective practices.
• Staffing and Scheduling:
• Oversee nursing staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.
• Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of nursing personnel.
• Training and Education:
• Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff on clinical practices and emerging healthcare trends.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in nursing and healthcare.
