The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented National Sales Manager (NSM) to lead our Critical Care Division and drive significant growth in this dynamic market. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals, and building a high-performing sales team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve ambitious revenue targets for the Critical Care Division.
  • Lead the effective execution of marketing strategies and campaigns, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular sales reviews to identify regional and territory-specific challenges, develop actionable plans to address them, and optimize sales performance across the division.
  • Drive growth by increasing prescriber base, improving territory performance, and implementing strategies to expand market share.
  • Identify underperforming territories and take corrective measures to ensure consistent performance and growth across the division.
  • Champion best practices by implementing clear norms for customer coverage, sales hygiene (including expiry product management, sales returns, and payment collections).
  • Build and manage strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), leveraging their expertise to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop your sales team, providing challenging assignments and fostering a culture of continuous learning and leadership development.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in Pharmacy; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record of success in a National Sales Manager role within the Critical Care / Hospital division of a reputable company.
  • Strong demonstrable record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders.
  • Keen business acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Proven experience in KOL management and relationship building.
