Job Title: NPD Engineer



Location: Sansera Engineering, Bangalore, India

As an NPD Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the development and launch of new products. You will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of product development, from concept to production. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.



Key Responsibilities:



1. Lead the design and development of new products, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and manufacturability targets.



2. Collaborate with the product design team to define project scope, objectives, and technical requirements.



3. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate the technical and commercial viability of new product concepts.



4. Create and execute engineering validation plans, including prototyping, testing, and validation activities.



5. Support the transition of new products from development to production, working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure a smooth and efficient handover.



6. Provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.



7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to continually improve product development processes.



Qualifications:



• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in NPD or product development, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA/CFD tools.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
