Role: DevOps Support Engineer
Experience: 5+ years
Key Responsibilities:Release Management: Manage multiple environments and oversee the promotion of environment artifacts for technology teams across the globe.Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design reusable, self-service cloud modules in Terraform, empowering application teams to efficiently deploy and manage their resources.Code Quality Assurance: Develop templates for code quality checks, including code-scanning, code-linting, and testing, for various languages and frameworks.Incident Management: Assist application teams in setting up incident management processes, escalation policies, and alerting mechanisms to ensure timely response and resolution.AWS Automation: Automate AWS configuration and orchestration using tools such as Terraform and Atlantis, enhancing efficiency and reducing toil.Support OnCall: Oversee the operation of our firm's DevOps services, ensuring smooth functioning and addressing end-user access and service requests.Desired Qualifications / Skills:Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a Level 2 support engineer role, with a strong background in supporting production environments.Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in administration of monitoring and alerting tools such as PagerDuty, Zabbix, Nagios, New Relic, or Datadog.AWS Expertise: Hands-on experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS, including EC2, ECS, Fargate, EKS, SQS, and RDS.Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, and SSH, with a strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts.Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a growth mindset and a passion for staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices."
