Responsibilities:

Router Infrastructure Design and Deployment:

Design, configure, and deploy Nokia router solutions (such as Nokia 7750, 7950, and 7250 series) tailored to support our solar energy operations.

Develop network architecture plans and implement routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP) to optimize data transmission and ensure robust connectivity across solar sites.

Network Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor the performance and health of Nokia router infrastructure using Nokia NSP (Network Services Platform) and other monitoring tools.

Conduct regular assessments and performance tuning to maintain network reliability and efficiency.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain router security measures, including firewall configurations, VPN tunnels, and access control lists (ACLs), to safeguard network integrity and data privacy.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security and data protection.

Documentation and Reporting:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of Nokia router configurations, network diagrams, and operational procedures specific to solar energy infrastructure.

Generate regular reports on network performance metrics, incidents, maintenance activities, and security audits.

Collaboration and Support:

Collaborate closely with Solar Engineers, IT Teams, and Project Managers to integrate Nokia router solutions into solar energy projects.

Provide technical guidance and support to ensure seamless network operations and project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)

X years of hands-on experience in designing, configuring, and managing Nokia router solutions, ideally in an industrial or utility-scale solar energy environment.

Proficiency in Nokia router platforms and protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS) with a strong understanding of network architecture principles.

Experience with network security concepts and best practices, including VPN technologies, firewall configurations, and network segmentation.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues efficiently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Relevant certifications such as Nokia NRS I, NRS II, or equivalent Nokia certifications are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) for network management and optimization.

Experience with SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) technologies and cloud networking solutions.

Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, solar power systems, and their integration with network infrastructure.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
