As a Node.js Developer at Fusion Techlab, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend. You will work closely with our frontend developers, leveraging your basic frontend knowledge, and play a crucial role in deploying applications on AWS, implementing Socket.io for real-time communication, and integrating third-party APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and secure server-side applications using Node.js.
• Work with MongoDB to design and optimize database queries, including aggregation pipelines and lookup operations.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS services such as EC2, S3 Bucket, and other relevant tools.
• Implement real-time communication features using Socket.io.
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs within our applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continually improve our development processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of Node.js and its core principles.
• Experience with MongoDB, including working with aggregation pipelines and lookup operations.
• Familiarity with AWS services, particularly EC2, S3 Bucket, and AWS deployment processes.
• Experience with real-time communication using Socket.io.
• Proficient in implementing and integrating third-party APIs.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security best practices in web development.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
