We are seeking dynamic and motivated freshers to join our team as NOC Routing Executives. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in computer skills, be proficient in MS Excel, and possess a keen eye for detail. This role is focused on efficiently resolving customer issues, ensuring accurate routing of traffic, and managing the class of service (COS) for Microtalk services. The NOC Routing Executive will play a critical role in ensuring that traffic is routed properly, and any issues are resolved proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Class of Service (COS) Management:
- Collaborate with the Carrier Manager to determine the best carriers for each COS.
- Modify dial plans, COS settings, and Least Cost Routing (LCR).
- Monitor and manage COS capacity.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Carrier Manager to discuss performance.
2. Carrier Management:
- Add and test new carriers for routing.
- Utilize route testing tools (e.g., Route Inspector) to evaluate routes.
- Monitor and manage carrier statistics on the portal.
- Modify COS by adding or removing carriers as necessary.
- Raise trouble tickets for faulty carriers and resolve issues promptly, ensuring that tested carriers are restored to service.
3. Switch Monitoring:
- Investigate potential issues affecting voice traffic.
- Check outbound CLI (Caller Line Identification) for validity.
- Identify and block hazardous CLIs.
- Track the top 20 CLIs used.
4. Call Statistics Monitoring:
- Monitor call success rates, ASR (Answer-Seizure Ratio), and ACD (Average Call Duration).
- Review failed call logs and investigate underlying issues.
- Ensure inbound calls are being connected successfully.
5. Rates Management:
- Receive, verify, and upload carrier rate cards into the Rate-Portal.
- Reject rates where necessary.
- Manually input rates when required.
6. Customer Onboarding:
- Send welcome emails and provide customer demonstrations.
- Set up customers on the Microtalk platform, monitoring systems, and rate portal.
- Conduct initial monitoring and generate reports for new customers.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong communication and writing skills for effective interaction with customers and carriers in the UK, US, and APAC regions.
- Proficiency in computer applications and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to proactively monitor systems.
- Excellent team player with strong coordination skills and a quick learner.
- Knowledge of the telecom industry, broadband, and VoIP technologies is an advantage.
