We have an exciting position for an NLP Data Scientist to join the NLP Team in Projects and Technology. Our team works on several projects across Shell focusing on developing end-to-end Natural Language Processing solutions. As an NLP Data Scientist, you will work hands-on across project teams focusing on research and implementation of NLP models.

What\xe2\x80\x99s the role?

As a NLP Data Scientist your accountabilities are:

• Apply your knowledge of NLP to a variety of problems like Generative AI, Search and Knowledge Graphs.
• Research new ideas and stay up to date with the world of NLP.
• Assess and advise on most appropriate NLP techniques or approaches for internal use cases.
• Share knowledge and expertise with the team.
• Proactively work with internal stakeholders across time zones and business units.

What we need from you

• Master\'s Degree or PhD in relevant discipline such as Computational Linguistics, Natural Language Processing, Computer Science, AI, Linguistics.
• Minimum 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 commercial experience in building AI/NLP models.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI techniques and Large Language Models.
• Working knowledge of main NLP libraries.
• Hands-on experience with ML cloud services such as AzureML and/or AWS Sagemaker.
• Able to write clean, well-documented code in Python.
• Experience across the project life cycle, from ideation to delivery.
• Excellent communication skills (both with technical and non-technical audiences) and the ability to work in a team.
