Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:
- Supervise hospital staff and departments
- Monitor patient flow and throughput
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
2. Patient Care and Safety:
- Respond to patient concerns and complaints
- Investigate and resolve patient safety issues
- Collaborate with clinical teams to address care concerns
3. Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise with medical staff, nurses, and other departments
- Facilitate effective communication among teams
- Provide updates to hospital leadership
4. Decision-Making and Problem-Solving:
- Make timely decisions on operational issues
- Troubleshoot problems and implement solutions
- Escalate critical issues to senior leadership
5. Quality and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards
- Monitor and report incidents, near misses, and sentinel events
