NICU (General)

Job Title : NICU Nurse

Job Summary:

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) staff provides critical care to premature, critically ill, and newborn infants who require specialized treatment and monitoring. The role requires working in a fast-paced and emotionally challenging environment, ensuring high standards of care to neonates and providing support to their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care:
• Nurses/Physicians: Monitor and assess the condition of neonates, including premature infants, infants with respiratory issues, congenital conditions, infections, or birth complications.
• Administer medications, treatments, and provide interventions as necessary.
• Monitor vital signs, lab results, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Operate neonatal ventilators, incubators, and other advanced medical equipment.
• Perform necessary medical procedures such as intubation, catheter insertion, and other emergency interventions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including neonatologists, pediatricians, and respiratory therapists, to ensure the best care plan.
• Provide detailed documentation of patient care, including changes in condition, treatments, and responses.
• Provide guidance to families regarding care plans, treatment options, and neonatal health concerns.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
