New Product Development R & D Manager

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Product Development Manager to lead our R&D efforts in creating exciting new products within the nutraceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about innovation, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a hands-on laboratory environment. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new nutraceutical products from concept to commercialization, including formulation, prototype development, and scale-up.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive products.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory affairs to ensure alignment throughout the product development process.
• Utilize scientific principles and experimental design to optimize product formulations for efficacy, stability, and sensory attributes.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturing teams to source high-quality ingredients and ensure manufacturing feasibility.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet key milestones and objectives.
• Stay current on industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory requirements related to nutraceuticals.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, ideation workshops, and innovation initiatives to generate new product ideas and concepts.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and external partners as needed.

Skills -

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development within the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
• Proven track record of successfully launching new products from concept to commercialization.
• Strong understanding of formulation chemistry, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, analytical methods, and product testing protocols.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to all stakeholders.
