Network/system Admin Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:Maintain on-premises server hardware and software (Windows, Linux).Configure and manage VPNs for secure remote access.Provide remote desktop support and troubleshoot applications.Manage user accounts and access controls for network security.Implement security policies and monitor SIEM tools.Administer G Suite and Microsoft 365, including email servers.Perform regular data backups and ensure efficient restores in NASMonitor server performance for optimal uptime.Implement and manage virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) for efficient resource utilization and server consolidation.Install and update operating systems and software.Manage vendor relationships for IT systems and software procurement.Set up new systems and perform system configuration.Technical Support:Troubleshoot and resolve IT problems for end-users.Document technical procedures and solutions.Qualifications:A+ certification or equivalent experience.Knowledge of network security concepts.Knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and remote desktop tools.Familiarity with G Suite and Microsoft 365 admin.Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
