This role within the Network Design and Engineering group of LSEG, working with the Network Services Product Owner. This group leads the Architecture and Design Standards of the network services required globally and the architectural integration to scale application services on prem as part of a hybrid multi-cloud strategy!This is a senior technical position for a cyber specialist who will work as an interface to the cyber security group and network engineering. This is to ensure that we maintain cyber consistency in all our design standards, to collaborate with cyber & audit requirements and to deliver NPS cyber strategyThe role involves elements of architecture, design, governance, and consultation to produce Network Service Architectures, Designs and Standards which align with business and architectural requirements.Day to day responsibilitiesYou will be responsible for network technology architecture, design, standardization, certification and development as it pertains to cyber strategy and standards!You will either be defining standards or validating the current standards meet the latest cyber requirements. Your role will be working closely with cyber engineering to develop new network standards and roadmaps and will be on point for working to proactively to remove cyber threats from the networks estate.Required Skills and ExperienceValidated work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role.

• Broad experience in network cyber strategy
• Expertise in proxy and firewall solutions
• Outstanding background in design of network security policy and network hardening
• Automation/tooling of network hardening and policy automation is highly beneficial
• Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts
• Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions
• Proficiency with antivirus and security software

DesiredThe following are skills and experience which may be beneficial when working with us

• Design of automated network deployments and automation experience with on-prem / cloud platforms using tools such as Ansible or Terraform or python
• Familiar with Git code repositories / pipelines and defining \xe2\x80\x98Policy as Code\xe2\x80\x99
• Experience with multiple Cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, Google) in building and maintaining reliable infrastructure and security services
• Financial Services Industry experience
• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
