Seeking a highly motivated Networking Software Engineer with Linux and Java development experience to join our OneView R&D team for next-generation infrastructure software development. We are looking for talented software engineers with strong programming experience. The suitable candidate will be part of a focused, agile team to deliver enterprise infrastructure software. Responsibilities: Contribute to design, development of new product features, bug fixes and enhancement requests per product requirements and schedules Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required based on specific objectives and established project guidelines. Executes and writes portions of testing plans, and documentation for assigned portion of application identifies and debugs issues with code and suggests changes or improvements. Participates as a member of project team of other software systems engineers to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for assigned systems portion or subsystem. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent. Typically 6-10 years experience. Knowledge and Skills: Java, Spring & Hibernate Good Knowledge of REST API Development Knowledge of Network protocols: Ethernet, LLDP, LACP, SNMP, RoCE, TCP/UDP/IP, VLAN, etc. Knowledge of Storage protocols: FC, FCoE, NVMe System Programming with OS internals knowledge Good expertise on Unix/Linux platforms and hands-on experience of at least one scripting language like Python Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Designing complex software systems. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and organization Experience solving scale, resilience, and performance issues in complex software systems. Ability to provide inputs towards product architecture and design and owns the same.
